ERIE, Pa. -- An Erie teen was sentenced to prison for shooting at two juveniles in 2015.
Derrick Elverton, 16, was sentenced to two and a half to five years in prison by Judge Daniel Brabender on Monday morning.
Elverton pleaded guilty in January to two counts of aggravated assault for firing several rounds at two juveniles in December 2015. No one was injured in the shooting.
Police said Elverton crashed a stolen SUV after firing several shots near East 22nd and Wayne streets.
Elverton was also sentenced to four years probation.
