It wasn't just families and kids enjoying the beautiful weather Sunday.
The dogs were out too.
The ANNA Shelter, a local non profit and open admission shelter, hosted a fundraising event at Sprague Farms.
More than three-hundred people and nearly two-hundred dogs showed up to enjoy live music, food, drinks, basket raffles and fun.
"That is exactly what keeps me and my whole staff of volunteers going. It's such a blessing and I just kind of feel like I'm doing the right thing when I see this kind of support and this kind of feedback from the community. It means so much. It's awesome," said Ruth Thompson, the ANNA Shelter founder and director.
