Two brothers dead after early morning crash

Two brothers are dead following a violent Wednesday morning crash.  The accident happened in Rome Township near its border with Orwell Township just after 7am yesterday. 

According to the Ashtabula Star Beacon, the victims are identified as 19-year-old Jonathon Mulhauser and his 18-year-old brother, Jacob.  Police say for an unknown reason, the car, driven by Jonathon, crossed the center line and collided with a van.  Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the van, 32-year-old Laraime Corlew, was not injured.  The investigation into the crash continues.
