Voices for Independence moves in to new location

Voices for Independence is making the big move this week to its new facility in Millcreek.  Today, staff is moving boxes, shelving and putting the final touches on their new space.

The multimillion-dollar renovation project at the former Vernondale Elementary School started in February and the Executive Director, Shona Eakin, says they are on track to open to the public on Monday.  "We are figuring out where things go because the way we use things in this building is different from the old building because we have all this space and we are just super excited to get done and get back to serving our community in the way we always have."

The former VFI office is now closed, but the phones are operational and ringing in their new home.
