ERIE, Pa. -- An Erie man was found in Ohio after allegedly tying up two of his female family members, stealing cash and a car in Erie before fleeing out of state.
Bill Houser, 46, of Erie, was picked up Thursday night in Medina, Ohio.
Erie police said just after 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Cascade Street, Houser tied up two of his own family members -- both women.
Police said he untied one of the women and made her drive to an ATM and take out money.
They then drove to Interstate 79 and West 26th Street where police said Houser kicked her out of the car and he drove off.
Police said she went to a nearby business where she called 911.
Police went back to the house and found the other woman still tied up.
Houser was located in Ohio on a warrant from Erie and was arrested around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Houser is facing multiple charges including kidnapping, robbery and robbery of a motor vehicle. He was awaiting extradition to Erie Thursday night.
