ERIE, Pa. - The Flagship Niagara League will host the fourth Annual Wintertime at the Maritime tonight!
According to U.S. Brig Niagara Captain William Sabatini, the Wintertime at the Maritime outdoor event allows the community to stay engaged with the Flagship Niagara League even when Niagara is winterized.
“There is a lot going on at the Erie Maritime Museum year round. The Wintertime at the Maritime allows the community to enjoy Niagara and the Maritime Museum even when she’s not sailing,” Sabatini said.
Event attendees can tour the Maritime Museum plaza and board Niagara. Live music from The Flying J’s, hors d’oeuvres from The Cork 1794 and a vodka ice bar can be enjoyed by visitors while they relax in heated tents or around the fire pits on the plaza. Cannonball bowling and a funky winter hat contest will be held throughout the evening.
Discounted tickets may be purchased in advance by going to flagshipniagara.org/wintertime or calling the office at $100 per couple. Tickets at the door will be $65 per person. Each ticket includes all event activities and three drink vouchers. More than 250 people are expected to attend with a portion of the proceeds from the event supporting Flagship Niagara League operations and the 8th grade day sail program.
The event runs from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. on the Erie Maritime Museum Outdoor Plaza at 150 East Front Street.
