It appears work is being done on the Granada Apartment Complex. The Granada Apartment sign is no longer standing, crews out working today on a new sign.
The complex is under new ownership after going to a sheriff sale in July. All of this coming after a balcony collapsed injuring several people in June of last year. That sparked complex-wide inspections resulting in a host of violations; six buildings being condemned and the demolition of one of those buildings.
We are being told that the new owners of the property will be making the plans for the complex public sometime in the near future.
