It wouldn't be Halloween without a graveyard full of zombies, skeletons, witches and other spooky sights... and, that's where the Haunt on Williams Street comes in.
Ranky Skalos grew up in a home at 585 Williams Street in Conneaut, Ohio. since he was little, his mom let he and his sister decorate for Halloween each year. In 1990, Randy decided to expand the display outside. From there, it grew so big and so elaborate, it now attracts hundreds of visitors each year. "In some communities, the neighbors don't like it, the city doesn't like it," says Skalos. "So, I'm really, really lucky that I can do this and have a lot of fun with it and bring a lot of enjoyment to everyone else."
Skalos begins setting up the display the last week of August and he'll start breaking it down around nine o'clock tonight.
