The Erie County Board of Elections is working to correct recent problems with absentee ballots.
Erie County Clerk of Elections Doug Smith tells us twelve hundred ballots were mailed out with errors.
He says there was an error on the heading of the court of common pleas race between Bob Sambroak Jr. and Bill Kelly Jr.
And some ballots didn't include Pennsylvania retention questions for supreme and superior court races.
Smith says these issues were caused by human error, but they have been corrected.
Smith says sending out the additional ballots cost more than four thousand dollars.
