Celebrate Erie was a huge success, according to the mayor's office.
The event brought more than 100-thousand people to Perry Square and surrounding streets downtown.
Three big-name musical acts helped pack the streets, more so than in years past.
Sha Na Na, Bret Michaels and Lonestar were a huge hit.
Food vendors and nearby businesses also did well financially during Celebrate Erie.
The crews worked hard to keep Celebrate Erie running smoothly.
The "kids zone" also attracted families, bringing some folks back for multiple days, and bringing in more money.
And Celebrate Erie ended with a fantastic fireworks display last night.
The fireworks followed the Lonestar concert, and the large crowd stuck around.
Bright colors lit up the sky while families cheered and celebrated.
The fireworks marked the conclusion of the four-day Celebrate Erie event.
