Conneautville Paints The Town

Volunteers are sprucing up the town for next years Bicentennial
The borough of Conneautville will celebrate its Bicentennial next year and today, volunteers began to spruce up the town for the event.

14 volunteers, 11 of them from Home Depot, painted the borough building as a way to make the center of town more attractive.

The Conneaut Valley Pride Committee coordinated the painting party.
Several residents donated 25 dollars each to help buy the paint for the building.

Home Depot sponsors a program that allows employees to volunteer their services, and those volunteers spent the day painting the borough building.

Next week, a 12 by 24 foot mural depicting the old Erie Extension Canal will be painted on the side of Ruth's Family Restaurant just a block from the borough building
