Democrat Dan LaVallee visits Erie at meet & greet hosted by Erie City councilman Bob Merski.

February 12, 2014 - Hailing from Cranberry Township, democrat Dan LaVallee is running for the 3rd congressional district seat, and Wednesday evening he stopped in Erie for a meet and greet at Calamari's Squid Row.

The 3rd district seat is currently held by republican Mike Kelly.

LaVallee said tonight that job creation is a priority of his, and building up the northwestern Pennsylvania economy.

"We have plenty of opportunities for growth," he started. "I believe we need new leadership, new energy in Washington to get our economy moving again."
