JUNE 18, 2014-- The controversial anti-discrimination ordinance brought out about 100 people to Meadville's City Council meeting, City Hall was overflowing with people. A group of people supporting the ordinance asked council to look into creating one for the area, but that decision has made many people upset. The council heard from their managing staff today what the ordinance could mean for the area. Those supporting it say it would become another municipality in the state to offer a sense of security for those not wanting to be discriminated against. Those against it say business owners and property owners should be able to follow their conscious.
