FEBRUARY 19, 2014- An area teen admits to causing a car crash that killed her brother and injured three other passengers.
The 15-year-old appeared in juvenile court Tuesday for an admission hearing, which attorneys tell us is the equivalent of a plea.
Assistant District Attorney Brian Arrowsmith confirms the teen admitted to a number of offenses relating to the rollover crash that killed her 8-year -old brother Emir Zilkic.
The accident happened back on August 13th.
The 15-year-old admitted to 3 counts of aggravated assault by motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and accidents involving death in the 3rd degree.
Her disposition, which is equivalent to sentencing, is scheduled to happen in the next month.
