Baby with High BAC Released from Hospital

According to Police Chief Randy Bowers, the baby girl is in stable condition and recovering. She is currently in foster care here in Erie.
MAY 16, 2014-   We have new developments in the case of an Erie baby brought into a local hospital with dangerously high blood alcohol content.
The one year old has been released from a hospital in Pittsburgh.
According to Police Chief Randy Bowers, the baby girl is in stable condition and recovering.
She is currently in foster care here in Erie.
Wednesday afternoon the baby was brought into Saint Vincent Hospital for treatment.
She was later life-flighted to a children's hospital in Pittsburgh for emergency care.
Bowers says this investigation is ongoing.
The mother of the child and the friend who brought the baby into Saint Vincent Hospital are being interviewed by police.
Charges have not yet been filed.
Bowers says this case is moving forward quickly.
