Thousands of people putt for a good cause in downtown Erie.
This years Barstool Open brought thousands of people out to downtown Erie to putt for a cause. Eighteen different bars participated in this year’s event that raises money for MECA. No matter the score the golf tournament was fun way to break cabin fever. It wasn’t just a putting contest, the organization also hosted a best costume contest for participants. The event expected to raise around 40,000 dollars for people in the area with disabilities.
