Car Collides With Semi Near Corry

Victim was flown to UPMC Hamot for treatment
February 20, 2014- A young man had to be flown to the hospital after his car collided with a tractor-trailer.

That accident happened at the intersection of Route 89 South and U.S. Route 6 near Corry just before midnight.
According to PA State Police in Corry, 19 year old Dustin Snyder of Corry was traveling on King road when he pulled in front of a tractor-trailer driven by Thomas Nichols of Ashville, Ohio.
Snyder had to be freed from the vehicle and was taken to UPMC Hamot by helicopter.
The driver of the semi suffered a moderate injury as a result of the crash.

Route 6 was closed while crews cleared the scene, the road has since been reopened.
