The two men accused of brutally beating a man inside of a downtown McDonald's had their day in court.
Charges against 59-year-old Albert Gilmore and 35-year-old Cedric Lofton were bound over to trial this afternoon. Gilmore and Lofton are charged with aggravated assault and simple assault.

This morning the man who was attacked testified. He said he was intoxicated and doesn't remember being beaten other than waking up in a hospital bed five days later. Defense attorneys say the victim was allegedly harassing women in the McDonald's.

A trial date has not yet been set for Gilmore and Lofton.
