Conneaut Lake Park Meeting Set

The meeting is being arranged by the Crawford County Commissioners as an opportunity for all of the taxing bodies
MEADVILLE, PA, July 29, 2014 — A meeting on Conneaut Lake Park is scheduled for 6 p.m. July 30 at Conneaut Lake Volunteer Fire Department, 11965 State Highway 618, Conneaut Lake, the Crawford County Board of Commissioners has announced.

Open to the public, it will be a joint informational meeting for the Crawford County Commissioners, the Sadsbury Township Board of Supervisors, the Summit Township Board of Supervisors and the Conneaut School District Board of Directors. Those are the four authorities that levy property taxes on the park.

The meeting will include a presentation from the Economic Progress Alliance of Crawford County (EPACC) on a plan it is proposing for future development and payment of back taxes, interest and penalties owed by the park.

The meeting is being arranged by the Crawford County Commissioners as an opportunity for all of the taxing bodies, as well as interested citizens and the recently seated trustees, to achieve a common understanding about the EPACC’s efforts to revitalize Conneaut Lake Park. EPACC is a county economic-development agency.
