Crawford County Commissioners Hear from Public on Courthouse Project

Some are upset over the potential loss of the historic Tarr Mansion which could be demolished if the project moves forward.
August 12, 2014 - Crawford County commissioners will hear from the public on a proposed multi-million dollar courthouse project.

The proposed plan would be located on Meadville's Diamond Park. It's a two building plan that would see a new three story county administrative office building and a renovation of the courthouse.

Some are upset over the potential loss of the historic Tarr Mansion which could be demolished if the project moves forward. The commissioners haven't made a decision and are waiting to hear from the public.

Another meeting to discuss the courthouse project is scheduled for tonight at 6 p.m. in Titusville at the Grace Fellowship Church located at 2 McKinney St.
