Erie Murder/Crime Book Available Saturday

The Unholy Murder of Ash Wednesday, penned by a former Erie police officer and former newspaper writer, hits the shelves tomorrow.
June 20, 2014 - A former Erie police officer is sharing stories from his twenty five years in law enforcement with the release of his new book.

The Unholy Murder of Ash Wednesday will be available in stores starting tomorrow.

The book took twenty years to be completed and is written by former newspaper reporter Jeff Pinski and former police investigator -- and now judge -- Dominick DiPaolo.

The book centers around the 1983 murder of Erie bookmaker Frank "Bolo" Dovishaw by Ohio hitman Robert Dorler Sr.
