Fairview Votes in Favor of Security Resource Officer

The school board voted to pass the contract with the Erie County Sheriff's Department that will provide the personnel for the position.

The Fairview School District will now have a security resource officer in it's high school.
The school board voted to pass the contract with the Erie County Sheriff's Department that will provide the personnel for the position.
The money for the officer is part of the state's Targeted Safe Schools Grant, which will provide around 76 thousand dollars over the next two years.


The school district recently invested in new security improvements worth 300 thousand dollars.
