First Student Looking to Hire Bus Drivers

If the school year were to start tomorrow, First Student would have enough bus drivers to get everyone to school. However, they say having extra drivers on board and ready to work is never a bad thing.
August 8, 2014 - The beginning of the school year is right around the corner and First Student is looking to hire additional bus drivers.

If the school year were to start tomorrow, First Student would have enough bus drivers to get everyone to school.

However, they say having extra drivers on board and ready to work is never a bad thing.

First Student employs part time workers to bring students to and from school along with taking them to activities and field trips.

There are currently 135 bus drivers working for First Student in Millcreek.

If you're interested in applying, there are some guidelines.

You must be 21-years-old, have three years driving experience, pass a physical and a drug screening and complete a background check.

It's a split shift schedule with a guarantee of four hours a day.

The job starts out at $11.90 an hour and there is also a $500 signing on bonus.
