A former football standout enters a plea in what investigators are calling a massive marijuana case.

Roosevelt Benjamin pleaded guilty to multiple drug charges in the one point three million dollar drug bust.

37-year-old Benjamin was initially charged with 14 counts of drug trafficking.

As part of a plea deal, Benjamin pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance and running a corrupt organization.

The charges stem from a more than one million dollar marijuana bust.

Investigators say a search turned up nearly 400 pounds.

The investigation dates back to November of 2012 when the Bureau of Narcotics investigators served a search warrant at Benjamin's house in the 300 block of East 21st Street.

The marijuana was found in a van at East 30th and German Streets.

Benjamin could serve four to eight years behind bars but a judge will ultimately decided on how much or less time he will serve.

His sentencing is scheduled for July 10th at 9 a.m.
