Former Saint Vincent Hospital Employee Charged with Fraud

Julie Wozniak was sentenced to four years probation and 12 months of home detention. She was also ordered to pay back more than ten thousand dollars in restitution.
AUGUST 25, 2014-- Julie Wozniak pleaded guilty to fraud for making more than sixty unauthorized credit purchases on Saint Vincent's cards. The former accountant also had twenty-two debit charges on the hospitals cards. Officials say she spent nearly 100,000 dollars on purchases for herself. Those purchases include a cruise, Apple products, Broadway tickets and airfare for trips. Officials say Wozniak also took money from Hilltop Beer and claimed she was using the money to pay the company's payroll taxes. Wozniak was sentenced to four years probation and 12 months of home detention. She was also ordered to pay back more than ten thousand dollars in restitution.
