“Free Program June 19 in Bradford by Author Ann Mauer”

California author Ann Mauer will conduct a free public program
California author Ann Mauer will conduct a free public program entitled “On Location For a Novel Show” on Thursday afternoon, June 19 at the Bradford Holiday Inn Express at 3 p.m. Ms. Mauer is visiting the area in connection with the Petroleum History Institute’s annual Oil History Symposium which being hosted in Bradford that week.

Ms. Mauer’s geofiction suspense novel “The Magic Eye” is based on the life of Milon J. Trumble who patented a continuous oil refining process in 1911 and was reported in 1916 newspapers as the first American to register patents in every country. His patents were for various petroleum, shale and synthetic fuel refining and metals manufacturing processes and equipment.

This informal program includes posters and historical pictures from the Trumble family collection. Ms. Mauer will explain the research and the novel writing process.

Advance reservations for this one-hour program are not required. The author will also answer questions and accept book orders at the show.
