Frontier Pharmacy Burglarized Overnight

Police say two men broke a window and made off with thousands of dollars worth of narcotics.
March 11, 2014- Erie Police answered an intrusion alarm at Frontier Pharmacy just before one this morning. When officers arrived, they found a broken window, and a ransacked cabinet that once held the store's stock of narcotic pain relievers.

Police say the value of the stolen pills and patches amounts to thousands of dollars.

Investigators are reviewing video surveillance that recorded pictures of two men. Officers could not identify their race.

The men gained entrance to the store by breaking a window. The drug cabinet was broken open and looted, the thieves left.

Police say nothing else was stolen, a safe inside the building was not disturbed.

The burglars left by a door with an escape bar that could be operated from inside the building. No suspects have been identified.
