Gannon Celebrates NanoDays

The university participated in a national series of educational programs focused on nanotechnology.
April 6, 2014 - If you ever wondered about the teeny, tiny, and invisible to the naked-eye atoms and molecules that make up matter, then the Millcreek Mall was the place to be Sunday.

Gannon University made science fun and interactive for kids and adults with NanoDays at the mall today.

NanoDays focuses on nanotechnology, which is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale.

The event was full of fun activities and demonstrations, and Gannon officials tell us that nanotechnology has the potential to lead to many scientific breakthroughs.

The event was free and one of many national "celebrations" of nanotechnology.
