Good Kid of the Year Award was announced at Jerry Uht Park Tonight.
Jet 24 anchor Traci Tuedhope presented the overall Good Kid Award at the Seawolves game to Jax Stone.

Although Jax was unable to attend the event, they displayed the video of him receiving the award on the jumbo tron before the game began.

Jax Stone was nominated for this award because of the kindness, bravery and selflessness he displays throughout the community despite his own challenging diagnosis.
He has a rare malignant tumor called brainstem gliomia which has left him fighting for his life, yet his condition has not stopped him from helping others.

There are many ways to help Jax and his family as they face his health struggles.
But the simplest way is to pray for Jax.
