Ken Springirth Releases New Study

A long time consumer activist and former Harborcreek Township supervisor has released a report on the controversial intermodal project that recently came to a halt.
July 8, 2014 - A long time consumer activist and former Harborcreek Township supervisor has released a report on the controversial intermodal project that recently came to a halt. With the help of several other community figures, Ken Springirth just released a new report about the rail terminal project that was proposed for the township.

The new 14 page study is called "Learn from Harborcreek's Concerns before Introducing Another Intermodal Rail Terminal Project." Springirth says he wanted to release this study as somewhat of a "warning" for other municipalities. "We wrote this report because we feel strongly that not only was it wrong for Harborcreek, but no other community should ever have to face the anguishing time that we faced," Springirth said.

If you'd like to check out the report, it's available at all the branches of the Erie County Library.
