Local High School Senior Wins Modeling Contest

The Collegiate Academy student travels to Las Vegas this weekend
February 19, 2014 - Collegiate Academy senior Natalie Scanlon was selected as a winner in a national modeling competition held by photography education company, Seniors Ignite.

Natalie’s senior portraits were submitted to the competition by her photographer, Jennifer Dworek, owner of Jennifer Dworek Photography in Girard.

Natalie was first chosen out of over 500 nationwide applicants to be one of 76 finalists, and was then selected
as one of seventeen winners across the nation.

This weekend Natalie will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she will attend professional modeling seminars and be photographed by nationally-renowned photographers. In addition, Natalie will be featured on the Seniors Ignite website, promotional materials, and in their spring fashion show, where she will join other winners to model the latest trends from designer labels.

Natalie’s photographer, Jennifer Dworek, is thrilled to have her model and work honored in this manner. “This
is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for any High School senior. I am honored to have Natalie join me this
year as a Seniors Ignite model winner.” To celebrate Natalie’s achievement, Jennifer surprised her at school,
where teachers and classmates joined congratulating Natalie on being selected as a finalist.

The Seniors Ignite Company holds educational events for high school senior photographers. To be eligible to
attend events and contests, photographers must submit work to be chosen by Seniors Ignite officials.
