Man Allegedly Assaulting Women at Mall

There have been four reported incidents since July.
An unidentified man is reportedly assaulting women on Millcreek Mall property.

Four police reports have been filed since the beginning of July.

The incidents have happened to women of various ages during the late afternoon and early evening hours.

"The male usually comes up, either surprises the women, or ends up asking a simple question about what time is it gets their guard dropped, and at that point the male usually ends up grabbing the women and runs from the scene,” says Lieutenant Scott Sebulak of Millcreek Police.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his twenties with glasses and blonde or dirty blonde short hair.

He is believed to be about 5'6” with a medium build. According to police he was seen in a four door compact passenger car.

Police tell us they haven't been able to spot the suspect on any surveillance video.

We decided to take a drive around the mall parking lot, on the hunt for any visible security cameras. While circling the perimeter, we were able to spot three cameras on the building.

But those cameras might not be the only ones. Mall officials told us they have several layers of human and electronic surveillance on their property.

We talked to mall goers Thursday night who are shocked by the suspect's bold behavior.

"I just can't believe it.. In broad daylight.. It's amazing! There's always so many people here,” says Peggy Robson.

No injuries have been reported during these incidents.

Mall officials say they've been working with Millcreek Police and are remaining extra vigilant, as well as increasing patrols.
