May 27, 2014 - A teenager and her unborn child are dead after an apparent domestic incident turns deadly in Ashtabula, Ohio.

The man accused of homicide is behind bars.

Marque Brown, 20, is charged with two counts of homicide in connection to the death of his girlfriend, Taisha Ramirez, 20, and her unborn eight month son.

Ashtabula Police responded to a domestic incident at 922 W. 48th St. around 6 a.m. Saturday.

That's when police say Ramirez was found with what appeared to be a broken nose and facial injuries. She was taken to Ashtabula County Medical Center for treatment and later released.

Brown was taken into custody at that time and charged with domestic violence. Ramirez was then taken back to the hospital a little more than an hour after the incident and pronounced dead at the hospital. Ramirez's body was taken to the Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office but a cause of death has yet to be determined.

Her family is mourning her loss and speaking out about the tragedy. Her 22-year-old brother says she dated brown for two years.
