Man's Body Found in Allegheny River

A body found in the Allegheny River on Tuesday morning has been identified as that of a 26 year-old Oil City man.

April 30, 2014-The body of Ronald Feely, Jr. was discovered by a pedestrian around 8:30 Tuesday morning at a location under the Wye Bridge near Pumphouse Road. Feely had been reported missing by his family Tuesday morning.

Feely was pronounced dead at the scene, but Oil City Police officials would not speculate on the cause of his death.

Oil City firefighters recovered Feely’s body.The man was taken to the Erie County morgue for autopsy.
