MHA Gets Computer Donations from Healthcare Provider

The computers will be used for the Second Chance Computers Recycling Program.
JANUARY 31, 2014-
A Pittsburgh based healthcare provider gives back to the Mental Health Association in a big way.
Gateway Health donated 25 laptop computers to the Mental Health Association of Northwestern PA.
The computers will be used for the Second Chance Computers Recycling Program.
That program is a five week training course for adults hoping to learn computer skills for job searching and education.
Once the course is completed, students get to keep the computers.
Officials say there are several requirements for those to enroll in the course.
Participants have to be established in a residence for six months, get a reference, be a mental health consumer and have to sign a waiver.
