Millcreek Names New Director of Finance and Accounting

Aaron O'Toole will replace Linnea Lincoln, who stepped down as business manager within the district last month.
February 3, 2014 - The Millcreek Township school board agreed 8-1 tonight at a special meeting to name Aaron O'Toole as the new director of finance and accounting, replacing Linnea Lincoln who resigned as business manager last month.

Board member Mike Kobylka voted in opposition, not because he thinks O'Toole is unqualified for the position, but rather because he believes the salary will be too high.

The proposed salary cannot be released until the contract is finalized.

O’Toole holds his MBA in International Business from Point Park University in Pittsburgh and has worked as a general ledger accountant and senior accountant for K and L Gates LLP in Pittsburgh since 2009.

O'Toole was not at tonight's meeting, but school board president Judy Wheaton says he has a great deal of experience and will be a vital part in helping build the district's finances back up.
