A child left unattended on a school bus prompts the Department of Public Welfare to revoke a local day care center's license.

On April 30th a child was found on a school bus at the Martin Luther King Center unattended for thirty minutes.

The boy attended the day care center with 59 other children.

After the incident officials from the MLK Center reported it to the Department of Public Welfare who notified parents about the revoked license Wednesday afternoon.

Officials from the MLK Center take responsibility for the incident saying it shouldn't have happened but they're expected different punishment.

There are three employees that have been suspended without pay until the investigation is complete.

Officials must appeal before June sixth and it could take anywhere from 60 to 120 days for the hearing to be complete.
