Motorcycle Crash Sends One to Hospital

Victim had to be life-flighted to UPMC Hamot
June 6, 2014- One man was injured when he lost control and wrecked his motorcycle in Crawford County.

That crash happened around 2:30p.m. Thursday afternoon on Route 98 near its intersection with Route 198.
According to Pennsylvania State Police in Meadville, Richard Phillips, 39, was traveling North on Route 98 when he lost control and hit a guide rail.
Phillips was flown to UPMC Hamot for treatment, where he is currently listed in fair condition.

Police are investigating what caused the crash.
