Come and be a part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Erie County’s 2nd Annual Fabulous Golf Outing
Come and be a part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Erie County’s 2nd Annual Fabulous Golf Outing, which will be held on Friday, June 27th, 2014 at the Venango Valley Inn & Country Club!

This event promises to be bigger, better, and even more FABULOUS than last year’s inaugural golf outing!

The fun begins at noon with a homemade BBQ pulled pork sandwich for lunch, followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

After golfing 18 fabulous holes, golfers will enjoy a delicious steak dinner grilled in the smokehouse!

The golf outing will also include numerous games and contests, including a skins game and a hole-in-one contest.

Golfers will also be able to enjoy scotch and cigars, as well as a sampling of delicious microbrews from area breweries!

All proceeds from the 2nd Annual Fabulous Golf Outing go towards supporting NAMI’s evidence-based Family-to-Family program.

NAMI’s Family-to-Family Program is a free 12-week educational course for family members, caregivers, and loved ones of individuals with a mental illness.

The highly-structured Family-to-Family curriculum educates participants about various mental illnesses, treatments and medications, and paths to recovery.

The course strengthens family relationships through communication, empathy, and understanding.

Many graduates call the program “life-changing” as they develop friendships and support networks with others in similar situations.

Registration is required for the 2nd Annual Fabulous Golf Outing and spots are filling up fast!

The cost is $125 per golfer or $500 per foursome and includes lunch, dinner, 18 holes with cart, and fabulous fun!

Sponsorships are also available and include many fabulous benefits! Pictured at right are James Bowen, Tyrone Moore, Danny Jones of the Erie School District, and Ron Steele of GECAC.
