New Facility to Deal with Behavioral Issues

A new facility that helps children and families deal with behavioral issues is set to open in Millcreek.

The new building on West Ridge Road, houses the Barber Center's Children's Acute Partial Hospitalization Program. Tours of the new facility were held to showcase the uniquely designed classrooms that will help augment the different therapies.

The program is designed to help keep children with recurring behavioral crises from having to be taken from their homes for hospitalization. The new facility will serve children from ages 4 to 17.
