Passengers Walk Away from Violent Head-On Collision

An investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway
April 17, 2014- Passengers of two cars are very lucky after their vehicles collided head on.

Emergency crews responded to this crash just after 11:45p.m. at the intersection of Buffalo and Moorheadville Roads.
According to reports from the scene, the two cars were traveling on Buffalo Road when for an unknown reason, one of the vehicles crossed the center lane and hit the other.
When the initial call came in, there were reports of multiple people trapped in the wreckage, but when crews arrived, all of the passengers were out of the cars.
Four of the passengers were taken to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, and one refused treatment at the scene.
Charlie Ramsey, Chief of the Harborcreek Fire Department, says the crash could have been much worse.
Buffalo road was reduced to one lane for a short time while crews were on the scene.

Pa State Police in Lawrence Park are continuing their investigation into the cause of that crash.
