PennDOT Schedules Meeting on Crawford County Intersection Improvements

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation invites the public to an open-house meeting
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation invites the public to an open-house meeting and plans display concerning proposed intersection improvements in three Crawford County communities.

Improvements are proposed for the intersection of Route 198 and Route 6 in Saegertown Borough; Route 198 and Route 886 in Woodcock Township; and Route 198 and Route 77 in Blooming Valley Borough.

Work is to involve improvements to turning radii, roadway surface, drainage and alignment.

Project plans include alternatives, including the possibility of a roundabout, for the southern intersection of Route 198 and Route 6 in Saegertown Borough.

The meeting open house and plans display will be held:

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Location: Saegertown Fire Hall

Saegertown, PA 16433

The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed project. A brief presentation will be made. Representatives from PennDOT will be available to answer questions and receive comments regarding the project. Anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the project area should attend this meeting.

The plans display location meets accessibility requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Anyone requiring special assistance is asked to contact PennDOT prior to the meeting.
