A former business manager of an area catholic school enters a plea in a major theft case.
David Earls the former business manager of St. Peter Cathedral School enters a plea in a major theft case. Earls pleaded guilty to one count of felony access device fraud. Earls also agreed to pay back the nearly 170 thousand dollars in funds he reportedly took from Saint Peter Cathedral School.

Investigators say Earls embezzled the funds over the course of more than a decade. Earl’s wife, Anne, was also facing charges, but the district attorney's office dropped charges against her because David took full responsibility for his actions.

Earls sentencing is scheduled for August 5th at 9 a-m.
