June 26, 2014 – A credit union is robbed during broad daylight leaving Erie Police on the hunt for the suspect.

Erie Police responded to the robbery just before noon today.

The suspect is still on the loose but police have a description of who they're looking for.

These pictures were taken from inside the credit union, showing the suspect described as a white man, in his mid twenties with blonde hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and khaki pants.

Police say he is anywhere from 5’4” to 5’7”, weighing from 125lbs to 145lbs.

They say he was unshaven and scruffy facial hair.

The suspect left the bank on foot, south from the branch located at 2436 Buffalo Road.

Police spent about an hour dusting for fingerprints and talking to tellers inside the bank.

Police say the suspect got away with an undetermined amount of cash after he showed the teller a note, claiming he had a weapon but didn’t show one.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Erie Police at 870-1120 or 870-1165.
