Police Respond to Gunfire on Erie Streets

In two separate incidents, police recover two shell casings
July 24, 2014- Erie police are looking into numerous reports of shots fired last night.

The first report came in around 11:20p.m. In the area of East 6th and Parade streets.
Police at the scene say one shot was fired, and they picked up one shell casing nearby.

Just ten minutes later, police were called to this house at 509 Reed Street, where they found a bullet hole through the front window.
Another shell casing was picked up near the intersection of East 5th and Reed streets and they did find a bullet inside the house.

Police do not have any suspects in relation to the shootings, and no injuries were reported.
