Police Search Crawford County Pond

Pennsylvania State Police are using a remote controlled camera to search pond on Miller Station Road in Cambridge Springs.
April 22, 2014- State Police investigators came to pond at a residence on Miller Station Road near Cambridge Springs before 9 am today. The officers and technicians set up a remote controlled camera on a tether to search the bottom of the pond for the missing head and hands of Gerald VanDyke.

VanDyke's dismembered body was found in a metal drum in Rockdale township last year.

The only identified suspect in the case, 68 year old Richard Houy of Cambridge Springs committed suicide in Crawford County Prison weeks after his arrest. Houy admitted to the murder of VanDyke.
