Possible Abduction Attempts

Erie Police are investigating two separate possible abduction incidents.
Erie Police are investigating two separate possible abduction incidents.

The first incident reportedly happened at Twelfth and Parade Streets.

Police say that happened around 8 am April 8th.

A sixteen year old boy said a black truck pulled up to him and a man asked him to get inside.

The boy said no but was met again at Fourteenth and Parade streets by the same man asking him to get in the truck.

The teen described him as a Hispanic man, clean shaven man in his thirties.

That same day around three in the afternoon, a ten year old boy was waiting after school in the eleven hundred block of East Ninth Street for his mom.

He was approached by a man wearing a mask who reportedly struggled with him until he got away.

The boy couldn't see the man but told police he sounded Hispanic and had a thin build.

Erie Police have a detective investigating the incidents.
