The football team took on The University of Central Florida in Dublin, Ireland where Central Florida was the home team.

The Nittany Lions won 26 to 24 on a Sam Ficken field goal in the final seconds of the game.

The event coordinators say this viewing party is just another great opportunity to celebrate the school and bring its community together. Bob Luther President of The Lake Erie Chapter of The Penn State Alumni Association said “ It's not just Penn Staters that come for these events. it's friends of Penn State, it's family, relatives, it's your next door neighbor. Nittany Nation just keeps growing and it's at venues like this that we can put it together and it'll keep us together for a long time. "
