Ripley Man Jailed in Pot Bust

As a result of the search warrant a marijuana grow operation with a number of marijuana plants was located within the barn.
June 12, 2014-This morning a search warrant was executed by New York State Police BCI, CNET and Uniform Members from the SP Jamestown and Fredonia stations. The warrant was for a barn located at 4156 Sinden Rd. in the Town of Ripley, Chautauqua County.
As a result of the search warrant a marijuana grow operation with a number of marijuana plants was located within the barn. In addition a quantity of processed marijuana was also secured by the State Police.
The owner of the property, JAMES E. CHAMBERS III, age 41, who resides in the residence located at this address was arrested for one count of criminal possession of marijuana in the 4th degree and one count of unlawfully growing marijuana. CHAMBERS was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is to appear before the Town of Ripley Justice Court on 06/30/14.
