Seniors Try to Save Millcreek J.O.Y. Center

Three dozen older adults packed into the Millcreek Township supervisor's meeting this morning.
July 8, 2014 - Seniors are rallying in Millcreek Township to try to save the Just Older Youth Senior Center. Three dozen older adults packed into the Millcreek Township supervisor's meeting this morning. Multiple people spoke on behalf of the senior citizens, the J.O.Y. Center and MECA.

MECA's contract was recently terminated, and supervisors intend to close the center, but the members aren't going quietly. They blame Supervisor John Groh and say the liaison is being unfair.

John Groh will meet next week with three people involved with the Center. He hopes to establish communication between the parties.
